Welcome to the TRCS 2026 Conference
The Tanzania Red Cross Society (TRCS) Humanitarian Conference 2026 is a three-day, high-level convening bringing together government leaders, development partners, banks, development finance institutions, private sector innovators, foundations, UN agencies, local NGOs, civil society, and academia in Zanzibar from 19th - 21st August.
The conference addresses a critical moment: climate change, public health threats, and recurring disasters are placing growing pressure on communities across Tanzania and the broader region. At the same time, advances in technology, renewable energy, innovative financing models, and private sector capital present real opportunities to strengthen resilience and improve humanitarian outcomes.
